One of the best museums I've been to, this incorporates a new facility with extensive exhibits featuring great audio video performances of actors in character that bring the history to life. Then there is a walking tour that takes you through many historic buildings and displays, including actors working in the businesses serving drinks and selling merchandise. Fun for all ages.

Good traditional Mexican dishes and combinations and excellent Margaritas. The namesake Margarita with a dash of orange juice was nice and fruity, and the Patron Margarita packed a punch.
The relleno was my favorite item.

This is a classic drive-In with car service. They have a great selection of burgers and sides. I had a corn dog and onion rings, and both were good. Great service.

Friendly service and a nice patio dining area are the highlights of this place in the midst of the Colorado Springs tourist area.
The food was just okay, with a very pedestrian Antipasto Misto and somewhat odd Caesar Salad that involved diced meat and toasted bits of flatbread.
The namesake Pizza Rustica was also just okay. The thin, authentic crust was good, but the ricotta was only in one small section, and the pizza overall had very little flavor. We overhead a nearby table chatting with the owner, and they gave exactly the same assessment.
Wine prices are reasonable.

Simply amazing. Not only did Michael Garmin capture the people, animals, buildings, and interiors perfectly, but he also created stories you can discern simply from examining the details of each scene.
Many of the rooms incorporate Pepper's Ghost effects to change from one scene to another (hence the "magic") and carefully positioned mirrors extend alleys into the distance.
It would take hours to fully enjoy every detail, but even a brief visit is definitely worth the stop!.

Bear Claw bakery has wonderful pastries, just as you'd guess from the name. They also serve complete breakfasts, and were doing a bustling business the Monday morning I visited.
I got a huge almond croissant, a big slab of sour cream pecan coffee cake, and coffee, all to go. Everything was wonderful. Next time I go I will definitely try more of their pastries, because I don't care how good the scrambled eggs might be, there's nothing like super fresh quality pastry!

Definitely Colorado's most unique and insane roadside attraction. The fruit of one very — shall we say, Individual — person's work, this massive structure is at once breathtaking, beautiful, crazy, and dangerous as all get out. Worth the detour.
